Direct Marketing Solicitations/Direct Marketing:

Q: Does "Do Not Share" mean I will no longer receive marketing materials from State Farm?
A: No. "Do Not Share" as explained in the State Farm "Notice of Privacy Policy" is not a marketing opt-out. You may receive information about State Farm insurance and financial products that we believe may suit your needs.

"Do Not Share" means you have the right to tell us not to share certain information (e.g. your driving record) we obtain outside of State Farm with our State Farm family of companies. This right is explained in your State Farm "Notice of Privacy Policy".

Q: What do I do if I want to "opt- out" from State Farm mail offers and/or telephone solicitations?
A: You have choices when it comes to learning about new offers and services from State Farm. You can choose not to receive marketing offers by direct mail, telephone and/or e-mail. We will honor your request throughout the State Farm family of companies or for specific companies or product lines. To tell us your preferences:
  • You can contact your State Farm agent directly
  • You can write to us at the following address:
      Customer Mail Response Center
      State Farm Insurance Company
      P.O. Box 1800
      Aurora, IL. 60507-9862
Q: Is there a method that I can stop all marketing solicitations from all Companies?
A: No, but there are ways you can reduce the number of solicitations you receive from companies with whom you do not have a customer relationship if they are members of the Direct Marketing Association. You can write to the following addresses:
  • For marketing solicitations received by mail, write to: Mail Preference Service, c/o Direct Marketing Association, PO Box 9008, Farmingdale, NY 11735-9008.
  • For marketing solicitations received by telephone, write to: Telephone Preference Service, c/o Direct Marketing Association, PO Box 9014, Farmingdale, NY 11735-9014.
You may also contact specific companies and ask that they do not contact you either through direct mail or telephone solicitations. This will not stop calls relating to your existing relationship with the company.

Certain states may have state-run programs whereby individuals can be placed on a "do-not-call" list to avoid marketing calls from businesses with whom they do not have an existing relationship. Your state will provide details on how to be placed on such a list.
